Where does stress really come from? Is it possible to live without it? And if so, how?
Andrew Bernstein began asking these questions as a teenager when his father and little sister passed away. Determined to find answers, Andrew spent much of the next twenty years exploring a wide variety of approaches to psychological transformation.*
In 2004, Andrew integrated his experiences into a new process, called ActivInsight, that makes the dynamics of stress and resilience mainstream and accessible. He has since taught ActivInsight to thousands of leaders at Fortune 500 companies around the world to help them resolve personal and professional problems faster. He also shares ActivInsight at some of the country's most respected nonprofit organizations, helping people deal with challenges such as cancer, addiction, and discrimination, and regularly serves as a faculty member in The Wharton School’s Executive Education programs.
Andrew's first book, The Myth of Stress, was published by Free Press in May 2010. You can connect with Andrew on the ActivInsight Facebook page, on Twitter, and on his corporate site and blog at activinsight.com.
*Along the way, Andrew spent three invaluable years working for bestselling author Byron Katie, whom he encourages people to learn more about.
